Love all the insta comments saying it was the pagani’s fault for being slow. Def not how passing works on the track.

What the heck was that Porsche doing? Even if it was turning faster laps than the Pagani that was a garbage line.

yikes... cooked brakes maybe, (or just inexperience?) I sure don’t like how the Pagani’s door pops open like that either...

See, this is why I don’t drive a $2 million car.

It didn’t look like the Porsche was going to make that corner, and the only time you’re allowed to get out of your car is if it is on fire (there was some smoke/steam coming out of the Porsche but it looked like coolant steam).
When you drive onto the track, you assume the risk to yourself and vehicle. The Porsche has to pay for his damage and the Pagani has to pay for his. If you can’t write off your car, you shouldn’t bring it to the track.
Now, the type of person who drives a Pagani on the track is either completely unconcerned with money or is litigious as fuck. The insurance waivers you sign to get on track usually keep you from actually from paying if you get sued, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get sued.
I have a friend who was recently involved in an on-track car to car incident, he was driving an S2000 and spun sideways on track and got t-boned by a Mustang. The Mustang driver offered some repair money but didn’t have to (he could have stopped or slowed enough to avoid contact but it was a luck of the draw type of incident where only hindsight made the best decisions and actions obvious). I don’t think the supercar drivers in the video ended their day as amicably.

The big kicker is this one: Unless they have specific insurance theirs will NOT cover track use... Insurance company wins, car owners both lose big-time

Man, the Pagani looks small next to the Porsche. Also, should the door have popped open like that?

I know it has exploding bolts or whatever in case it lands on the roof. Just seems odd to pop open like that after a hit.
